How we calculate our prices

Every ₹ figure on InteriorIQ comes from one place: our own rate card. This page explains what that rate card is, how a range is worked out, and what it does not include.

One rate card, versioned and dated

InteriorIQ keeps a rate card: a list of the items we build (kitchens by layout and size, wardrobes by type, ceilings, TV units, packages) with a low, a typical and a high price for each, per board, finish and locality. Each version has a name (for example rc-2026-10-01), a date it takes effect, and the person who published it.

Every price on a page is bound to one line of one version. The version is printed next to the price, so you can always tell which rate card a figure comes from and when it was last changed.

How a range is worked out

  1. From our projects, not from other sites

The ranges come from what similar work has cost in InteriorIQ’s own projects and quotes. We do not copy prices from other companies or marketplaces.

  2. Low, typical and high

The low end is a simple version of the item with standard hardware; the high end is a premium finish with better hardware. Most homes land near the typical figure.

  3. By locality when it matters

Where costs differ across Delhi NCR (labour, transport, society rules), the rate card has a separate line for the locality; otherwise one NCR-wide line applies.

  4. Checked before it is published

Every page is checked automatically (each figure is recomputed from the rate card) and read by a person before it goes live. A page priced from a sample rate card can never be published. Every page that goes live, changes or moves is listed on what changed.

What a range includes, and what it does not

Each range lists what it includes (for a kitchen: carcass and shutters, soft-close hinges and channels, installation) and what it does not (countertop, appliances, civil and electrical work, GST unless stated). A range is not a quote: your exact price depends on your measurements and choices.

From a range to your own number

A range is a starting point. Ask InteriorIQ about your own kitchen, wardrobe or room, and use our quote checklist to see what a fair quotation should include. Nothing on this site asks for your phone number.
